Erected in the castle which thrones above the village of San Martino in Badia, the Museum Ladin Ciastel de Tor opens an important window on the lives of the Ladin people.

Undoubtedly an original structure which carries the signature of one of the most important contemporaneous architects. Zaha Hadid collaborated with the famous local mountaineer Reinhold Messner to realise an exhibitive area dedicated to mountaineering, which is situated at the top of Kronplatz, an intersection of three South Tyrolean cultures.

The natural emerald-coloured lake framed by the mountains of Braies and nestled at the foot of Seekofel is one of the most fascinating places in the Fanes-Senes-Braies nature park and the whole of the Dolomites. The colours and the beauty of this natural basin are well worth a visit. The lake is also accessible on foot via the Fojedöra valley. You can also get there conveniently and efficiently by public transport from the Puster Valley.
